Perception is in the eye of the beholder

 

How are you perceived by your customer? And do you want to be perceived by potential customers better and make that sale and/or get that referral?

The one obvious measure for a good perception is whether or not they buy you and your products or services. However this may be a little simplistic and a inaccurate measure to use! Do you know for sure that someone hasn't perceived you well if they haven't bought?

There are many advisors who can tell you what you should and shouldn't be doing, there are countless books and courses designed to give you someone's insights and expertise in order to help; few however will be there with you when you pitch yourself to your potential client.

Both NLP and coaching can be used to support yourself better, to access your own expertise and to put to use that knowledge you have gained in a way that is right for you. They both can be used by you to understand how you are currently perceived, to advise yourself on what changes to make and to support you as you implement the change.
